Chatreen O'Connor

Chatreen is a 25-year-old electrical apprentice who left behind a career in film and marketing to get on the tools—and according to her, it’s the best move she's ever made.

She wanted more than just a job—she wanted a future that she could build for herself. Some days are a breeze, others push her to her limits, but she absolutely loves it.

Chatreen shares her journey to show the real side of life in the trades and to prove that women not only belong there—they’re thriving. The industry’s shifting, but they're not done yet. She's here to work, grow and learn.

Outside of work, she's either planning her next trip or binge-watching movies—still a film girl at heart, just with a tool bag now.
