James Milligan

James Milligan began working for Hays in 2000. He moved to Ireland in 2002, where he was appointed Director responsible for Hays Ireland’s Technology and Outsourcing businesses.

In 2015, James was appointed Head of Technology for the UK and Ireland, and in 2018, his role expanded to include EMEA and Hays Technology Professional Services business, Emposo. In 2020, James was appointed Global Head of Hays Technology Solutions. As of May 2024, his role further expanded to become the Global Head of Technology, Engineering, and Contracting.

James is responsible for the operational excellence of all global contracting and high-growth, high-value domains, including technology, life sciences, engineering, and sustainability. Among his other interests, James is the Chair of Teen Turn, a non-profit organisation that provides teen girls from underserved areas with hands-on STEM experience.
