Purpose of the Consultation
The Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science invites you to provide your views on the proposed new Action Plan for Apprenticeship, 2026-2030, building from the current Action Plan 2021-2025.
The Action Plan for Apprenticeship 2021-2025 can be found here: Action Plan for Apprenticeship, 2021 to 2025.
The consultation is intended to seek the views of stakeholders, organisations and interested members of the public on the progress of the current Action Plan for Apprenticeship 2021-2025 and feedback to inform policy for the new Action Plan for Apprenticeship 2026-2030.

Closing Date
The closing date for submissions is 5pm on 16 February 2026. We cannot consider submissions received after this time.

A consultation report may be prepared based on the responses to this survey.
What we will do with your Response
The information provided by respondents will be used to shape the content and focus of the new Action plan for Apprenticeship 2026-2030.
Submissions and observations received may be made available on the Department’s website, unless otherwise requested. Any personal information included in your submission will be redacted prior to release.
