The February edition of the Better Public Services newsletter, with all the latest public service transformation news and information, is out now and features:
- An interview with Deputy Commissioner Shawna Coxon from An Garda Síochána (AGS) sharing her insights on AGS’ transformation journey, and role of emerging tech and AI in the force
- ‘Serving Communities, Connecting People’ a Relational Policy event exploring a transformation approach to public service delivery focussing on building meaningful relationships between service providers and users aiming to improve outcomes and trust.
- The 2025/2026 Civil Service Traveller and Roma Work Placement Programme which aims to promote greater participation and inclusion of individuals from these communities in the civil service.
- Announcing the Open Data 2026 Training program. The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation have partnered with the Institute of Public Administration to deliver an expanded range of Open Data training courses for the public service in 2026
