Regions and Internal Control Division

The Regions and Internal Control Division builds relationships with representative groups and related bodies, to position the national employment service as a partner of choice. This promotes the utilisation of Intreo services and supports to increase recruitment from the live register and positively promote this activity internally and externally.

In several different regions across Ireland, the division delivers a range of services to customers of a working age. This includes payment support, Career Guidance, training grant aid, referral to training and employment opportunities, including Community Work Programmes. A customer information service on all schemes is also provided. Achieving an appropriate balance between customer services, efficiency an effective expenditure control is the aim.
