Community Employment: Grant Aid

(Issue No. 1 – January 2019)

Note: (Grant aid is per week unless otherwise stated and wages are liable to Tax and PRSI deductions).

(1) Participants – Rates Effective 25 March 2019

Community Employment Participant – Minimum Grant: €225.50.

Note: If a Participant’s Social Welfare entitlement exceeds €203, a grant equivalent to this entitlement plus €22.50 will be paid.

(2) Supervisors - Rates Effective 1 September 2008

(Including all phases of first module of towards 2016.)

Only Projects that are fully compliant with the Towards 2016 Phase 3 and 4 validation requirements are eligible to receive these pay awards. Non-compliant projects will remain at the previous rates (up to Towards 2016 Phase 2).

2.1 Projects Providing Development Modules:

Supervisors with 11 – 14 Participants

Supervisors with 15 or more Participants

Assistant Supervisors with 26 or more Participants

2.2 Projects Not Providing Development Modules - Rates Effective 1 June 2007:

(Including Phase 1 and 2 of first module of Towards 2016.)

Supervisors with 1 – 4 Participants

Supervisors with 5 -14 Participants

Supervisors with 15 or more Participants
