Weather Warnings and Office Closures: What You Need to Know

During Status Red Weather Alerts, all Department of Social Protection offices in the area affected will close to the public. This includes Intreo Centres, Social Welfare Branch Offices and Control Offices.

The offices will close for the alert period and for 2 hours before and after the alert.

All appointments will be cancelled.

We will contact you to reschedule your appointment. If you were supposed to sign at an office, we will let you know if you need to come on another date.

Missing an appointment during a Status Red Weather Alert will not affect your payment.
