The Work and Skills events provide jobseekers with an opportunity to connect with employers who are actively recruiting to explore full‑time, part‑time and flexible job opportunities in their local area.
Jobseekers also can learn about the training options available, and avail of job seeking advice to help them take the next step in their career.
Commenting on the events, Minister Calleary said:
“I am delighted to announce another series of our Work and Skills events. These events offer a vital opportunity for jobseekers to meet directly with employers and learn about jobs on offer as well as finding out about training options available.
“They also offer a great opportunity for people to find out more about the supports and services that are available from the Department to both employers and jobseekers.
“Employers from a range of sectors will be actively recruiting at these events, and some vacancies can even be applied for on the day.
