The Integration Fund supports communities across Ireland to play a greater role in promoting the integration of migrants, with a specific focus on people seeking international protection.

Funding is made available to organisations to carry out integration projects at a national, regional or local level. Organisations eligible to apply include local community groups, charities, faith-based groups, formal and informal schools and cultural organisations. Applicant organisations must operate on a not-for-profit basis.

Integration Fund 2025 Funding Call

On 3 July 2025, the Minister of State for Migration, Colm Brophy, announced €3,500,000 in funding under the 2025 Integration Fund.

The Fund combines two previously run funds – the International Protection Integration Fund (IPIF) and the Communities Integration Fund (CIF). Since their inception, both funds have provided close to €10m in funding to over 1,000 projects across the country. Any organisations that applied to the IPIF or CIF in previous years are still eligible to apply for the 2025 Integration Fund.

The fund has two Schemes.

2025 Integration Fund Scheme A

The purpose of Scheme A is to support communities across Ireland to play a greater role in promoting the integration of people seeking international protection, including both adults and children.

People seeking international protection should therefore be the primary target group for all Scheme A applications. While other individuals may benefit from the project, people in the international protection process must account for the majority of participants in a project. As Scheme A is intended to promote the integration of people in the international protection process and host communities, applicants are required to explain how the proposed project will bring both groups together. Projects should not be focused solely on any one particular ethnic group or nationality.

Scheme A is open to large-scale projects that specifically promote the integration of people seeking international protection. The grants available under this funding call are from €10,000 to €100,000 for Scheme A projects.

2025 Integration Fund Scheme B

The purpose of Scheme B is to support communities across Ireland to play a greater role in promoting the integration of migrants. Any migrant group(s) can be included as the primary target group for Scheme B submissions. Applicants will be required to indicate which migrant group will be the main beneficiaries/participants of the proposed activities.

Scheme B is open to smaller scale projects that promote the integration of all migrants. The grants available under this funding call are from €1,000 to €10,000 for Scheme B projects.
