The Cost-Effective Delivery of Essential Infrastructure

This Irish Academy of Engineers' report examines measures for the cost effective delivery of essential infrastructure in Ireland. These include improving the planning process and legislation, reforming procurement procedures, strengthening institutional arrangements for infrastructure projects, developing appropriate skill sets, private participation in funding and financing and the identification of synergies in infrastructure deployment between Ireland and Northern Ireland.
