JP Mulherin has responsibility at Principal Officer level for the Investment Programmes and Outdoor Recreation Unit. He oversees the implementation of “Embracing Ireland’s Outdoors”, Ireland’s outdoor recreation strategy, including the delivery of the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) and the Walks Scheme. The unit also delivers a range of supports for community infrastructure through the CLÁR Programme, the Community Centres Investment Fund (CCIF) and the Community Recognition Fund (CRF).
