It was in recognition of aviation’s key economic role in Ireland, and a need to take stock of the many significant developments in global aviation across two decades, which underpinned the drive towards a new Government policy for Irish aviation.

The National Aviation Policy is proving itself a robust framework supporting the continued growth of Irish aviation, in helping to build on its reputation in global aviation and providing the environment for aviation to maximise its contribution to wider economic recovery.
