How many housing units will there be in the National Centre campus?

There will be 18 units of 1.5-bed social housing on the National Centre campus, configured to universal design standards and appropriate for older persons and persons with disabilities.

Who will be eligible for the social housing at the National Centre?

Qualified applicants for social housing with Dublin City Council will be considered in accordance with the Scheme of Letting Priorities. The units are designed to universal design standards to provide safe and secure accommodation for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Each unit will provide for a single resident but with an additional capacity for overnight care in each case.

Will survivors be prioritised for the social housing units in the National Centre?

Dublin City Council along with an approved housing body will manage the units in the National Centre. Housing allocations for these units will be made under Dublin City Council allocation procedures. Survivors with an accepted need for the accommodation type may be flagged with the Allocations office to allow for consideration of their case.
