COVID-19 is a highly infectious disease. Restricting movements and self-isolation are essential in preventing the spread of the virus.
While this can be challenging, taking these measures will help protect you and your family from COVID-19 as we roll out the national vaccination programme.
We know that most people are making their own plans and are supported by their friends and family when they need to self-isolate or restrict their movements. We also know that this is not easy, and many will struggle with it. This is why the government have brought together a broad range of information and supports in one easy to access location to help everyone make and stick to a plan that is best suited to them.
If you think you have symptoms of COVID-19 or you are a close contact, please follow the guidance below and contact your GP or the HSE immediately for further advice.
