Financial and employment supports
MyWelfare has a number of supports available to help you with any financial issues you may have while you restrict your movements, self-isolate or complete mandatory quarantine.
Emotional/mental health supports
Whether you are self-isolating or restricting your movements it is important to look after your mental and physical wellbeing. Here are some steps you can take.
- you can keep in touch with friends and family over the phone or internet, but don’t have physical contact with anyone who isn’t isolating with you
- physical exercise is good for your wellbeing. Look for online classes or courses to help you take light exercise in your home
- if you are restricting your movements, you can go outside, but you need to limit your contact with others. It’s ok to go for a walk, run or ride your bike. This does not apply to those that are self-isolating
