Bovine TB disease levels
As of 28 September 2025, on a rolling 12-month basis there were 40,192 reactors and herd incidence was 6.08%.
Expenditure
Expenditure at the end of Q3 2025 was €79.4 million an increase of 20% on Q3 2024. On farm market valuation (OFMV) has increased by 21% compared with Q3 2024. This increase in OFMV is due to strong market values and the rise in the number of reactors. OFMV is the main contributor to the increase in bTB programme expenditure over the last three years.
