Bovine TB disease levels
Provisionally, as of 28th December 2025, on a rolling 12-month basis, herd incidence was 5.77% and there were 37,785 reactors.
Expenditure
Expenditure at the end of Q4 2025 was €121.98 million an increase of 21% compared to Q4 2024. On farm market valuation (OFMV) has increased by 16% compared with Q4 2024. This increase in OFMV is due to strong market values and the number of reactors. OFMV is the main contributor to the increase in bTB programme expenditure over the last three years.
