A public consultation took place from 14th May 2025 – 8th July 2025. A further consultation is required due to an error in the original publication of drawings/maps for site T05-444D on this webpage. The re-consultation takes place from 4th March 2026 – 28th April 2026.

A copy of all relevant documents are available for inspection, free of charge for 8 weeks, between dates 4th March 2026 and 28th April 2026, at the following locations:

Members of the public who wish to make a public submission or observation in writing concerning the Appropriate Assessment or the Aquaculture and Foreshore Application may do so within 8 weeks between 4th March 2026 and 28th April 2026. All public submissions or observations will be published on the Department’s website.

Submissions or observations received outside of the public consultation period cannot be considered.

All submissions or observations submitted to the Department for this purpose are subject to release under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2014 and the European Communities (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations 2007-2014. Submissions or observations are also subject to Data Protection legislation.
