Garret Doocey

Garret Doocey is Deputy Secretary General in the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage with responsibility for the Housing Activation Office. He was previously Assistant Secretary General in the Department of Transport with responsibility for land transport investment and prior to that held a number of different roles in that Department in the corporate, maritime transport and public transport areas. He started his Civil Service career in the Courts Service, having joined from the private sector. He holds an MSc in Major Programme Management, an MSc in Economic Policy Studies and a MA in Public Management.
