42,316 homes commenced on a rolling 12-month basis (May 2024 to April 2025).
Of the 3,945 homes commenced so far this year (Jan-Apr), 25% were in the four Dublin local authorities.
By Local authority, the most units commenced this year so far have been in Cork City (186), followed by Dun-Laoghaire Rathdown (134) and Donegal (72).
