Cherry laurel control as part of necessary conservation measures within the Coole-Garryland Complex Special Area of Conservation. Cherry laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) has become invasive in areas of the Coole woodland habitats and over the years has grown to form a dense understorey, preventing the natural growth of saplings of native tree and shrub species.
