- Regular data publication — on a quarterly and annual basis — supporting accountability and transparency of local authority delivery.
- A revamped local authority voids programme to incentivise quicker turnaround times of vacant social homes
- An expanded and streamlined Land Acquisition Fund, increased to €500 million for local authorities and AHBs.
- Continued provision of social housing supports for tenants in privately rented accommodation, both Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) and Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS).
- Review the existing HAP rent limits to ensure sufficient support under the HAP scheme.
