- Rent Pressure Zones extended to a nationwide rent control system with rent increases capped at 2%
- Strengthened tenancy protections, including significantly restricted ‘no fault evictions’.
- New Short-term letting regulations to ensure homes are available for residential use where the need is greatest.
- Rent Tax Credit extended and will be progressively increased in line with Programme for Government commitments.
- A new Student Accommodation Strategy published.
