HBFI provides loans for housing projects, especially where banks won’t lend.

• Since 2019, HBFI has approved €3 billion in funding, supporting 15,000 homes in 206 developments across 25 counties.
• The Government will add €200 million in Budget 2026 so HBFI can keep funding projects nationwide, including for small and medium builders.
