Notice of Re-Appointment to the Board of the Residential Tenancies Board

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage on 30 November 2022, formally re-appointed (from 01 December 2022 to 30 November 2027) Ms. Julia Carmichael for a second term to the Board of the Residential Tenancies Board.
The Residential Tenancies Board is an independent statutory agency established in 2004 under the Residential Tenancies Act and it main functions are the:
- resolution of disputes between tenants and landlords
- registration of tenancies in the private rented and approved housing bodies sectors
- provision of advice to the Minister in relation to the private rented sector.
This brings the Board membership to 12 persons.
