Proposed Commencement Schedule for Planning and Development Act of 2024

This page provides information on the remaining commencement phases of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Act of 2024) i.e. provisions of that Act not yet in force and the “block” as part of which those provisions will be brought into force.

An asterisk (*) denotes a change as to what was proposed in the commencement schedule set out in the Implementation Plan as published March 2025. This is related to situations where a section or sections of a Part were brought into operation in an earlier block, or will be brought into operation in a later block, than originally proposed in that commencement schedule as published.
