Minister Murphy announces extension of public consultation on judicial review reforms

Mr. Eoghan Murphy T.D. Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government has today (17 December 2019) announced an extension to the public consultation period on proposed reforms to the judicial review provisions in the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended), as outlined in the General Scheme of the Housing and Planning and Development Bill 2019. The extended consultation will now run until 27 January 2020.

The minister has decided to give a two week extension for the public consultation to allow more time for submissions from all interested parties which will inform the further development of the draft legislation.
