Under section 48 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, Planning Authorities may make a development contribution scheme in respect of certain public infrastructure and facilities provided by, or on behalf of, the local authority that generally benefit development within the administrative area of the Council. Monies collected under Development Contribution scheme are allocated to the funding of public infrastructure and facilities described in section 48(17) of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended.
The public consultation on the Draft Development Contribution Scheme in respect of development in the Cherrywood Planning Scheme Area 2023-2028 will begin tomorrow 30 June 2023 and will run until 14 August 2023 at 5pm.
