December 2025 Update – Dublin Commemorative Bridge

Works are continuing at the southern pier and abutment on the Irish National War Memorial Gardens side. Current activities include archaeological monitoring, installation of silt fences, topsoil stripping, site investigations, and testing of continuous flight auger (CFA) piles. Upcoming works on the southern side will involve diverting the foul sewer pipeline, completing the bridge foundation test piles, and commencing the bridge concrete works.

On the northern side, works are progressing with the testing of CFA piles, further site investigations, and off-site removal of arisings.

Upcoming works on the Northern side include the commencement of the roadworks on Chapelizod Road. This includes the construction of a new entrance and, footpath modifications and a new pedestrian crossing.
