Corporate Governance

The Governance Framework of the Office of Public Works implements the corporate governance standard for the civil service.

The Governance Framework outlines the governance principles that the OPW is guided by and the structures, legislation, regulations, policies and processes within which all staff of the organisation must operate.

The Governance Framework was first published in July 2016. To ensure that it remains up-to-date, the Framework is kept under ongoing review and updated accordingly from time to time.

The Chairman of the Office of Public Works has certain responsibilities as set down by the Public Service Management Act 1997.

The framework of assignments constitutes a consolidated statement as at a specified date of all assignments under the Act by the Chairman to officials down to and including Principal Officer level.
