OPW Property Maintenance Services has different specialist staff located across the State.
The Property Maintenance Services strategy is directed by the OPW’s Mission Statement:
“To use our experience and expertise in our mandated areas of operation to provide innovative, effective and sustainable shared services to the public and our clients.”
Property Maintenance also has a Policy and Support Unit that provides the policy service on Fire and Security, Furniture, Health and Safety, and Asbestos Management to our in-house clients as well as government departments and offices.
Property Maintenance Services undertakes capital works up to the value of €500,000 for government departments and State property, office fit-outs, upgrading and refurbishments.
Property Maintenance Services tenders capital works with values typically between €50,000 and €500,000 from our contractors list for works on Government Departments and State property throughout the state. The property portfolio includes but is not limited to; Government Department and Agency offices (owned and leased), Courthouses, Garda Stations and other facilities.
Examples of these works include;
• Fabric upgrade works including re-roofing, window/door replacement, energy retrofits etc
• Full refurbishment projects including internal and external works
• Office fit-out projects
• Public interface and accessibility upgrade works to Government buildings including Garda Stations, INTREO facilities, Revenue Commissioners
Property Maintenance Services invite contractors who wish to be considered in tendering for these works to fill in the contractors form below. This form allows contractors to indicate both the regions/areas and the size of projects which they wish to be considered for.
Once the application has been approved contractors will be invited to participate in tendering competitions on a rotational basis.
