OPW Locations to Host Egg-citing Events for the Whole Family this Easter

The Office of Public Works (OPW) is delighted to announce a series of egg-stra egg-citing events taking place at numerous OPW locations nationwide. From Easter egg hunts to Easter themed arts and crafts workshops and tours there are plenty of activities to keep the children entertained this Easter.

Ross Castle, Co. Kerry is hosting a wildflower-themed Easter Hunt encouraging children to use their detective skills to find hidden eggs, some marked with special letters.

Join ‘Captain Esther’ at Charles Fort Military Fortress, Co. Cork as she leads a special quest to find eight lost baby bunnies.

Minister of State with responsibility for the OPW, Kevin “Boxer” Moran, said ‘Families will find plenty of fun filled activities to enjoy over the Easter break, with a range of workshops, tours and activities on offer. I am delighted to see so many OPW sites offering family friendly experiences this Easter. I encourage everyone to come and enjoy these events across the country.”

The Custom House Visitor Centre will also host an Easter egg hunt and children’s tours during the Easter break catering for children who wish to test their knowledge in architecture, history and art.
