Multi-Supplier Framework for the Supply of Class B Fire Appliances to Public Sector Bodies

This framework agreement offers Class B fire appliances to the public sector.

Goods and services that this framework agreement offers

Framework clients can purchase new Class B Fire Appliances. Tendered prices are fixed for the first twelve (12) months of the framework agreement and may be increased or decreased, by reference to the Capital Goods Price index published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO), on an annual basis based upon the twelve (12) month anniversary of the effective date of the framework agreement.

Clients can choose between three types of chassis (Renault, Scania or Volvo)

Clients can choose their preferred body construction material (Aluminium or Composite)

Clients can choose from a number of optional extra items to enhance the appliance

e.g. compressed air foam system, alternative main pump, portable pumps, RPP Foam System, standalone generator, etc.

Green or Social Considerations

Vehicle engine requirements comply with latest EU emissions standards. Green considerations were taken into account at the qualitative Award Criteria stage of the competition and applied at the establishment of the Framework.

Tenderers were awarded marks based on how they incorporate environmental and sustainability efficiencies/measures during the bui ld process. For example:

•Energy optimisation initiatives in the warehouse/premises including rain harvesting, use of PV Panels, fabric of the building in cluding insulation, efficiency of lighting and heating, EV charging capabilities etc.

•Use of recycled and/or recyclable material

•Waste management/disposal/recycling

•Minimisation of waste

•Transport & logistics measures

Contract Dates

Valid From: Sept. 26 2023

Expiry: Sept. 25, 2025

Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.
