Procurement Directives - Revision 2026

In 2026, the European Commission anticipates publishing a legal proposal aimed at revising existing public procurement rules. To facilitate stakeholder participation, the Commission has launched a consultation on their ‘Have Your Say’ portal.

A call for evidence invites stakeholders to submit comments, reports, or long-form contributions on what the new legal framework should include. There is also an open public consultation in the form of an online questionnaire with targeted questions on the reform of the existing rules.

Both the call for evidence and the open public consultation are open until 26 January 2026.
