Investment in Health Services - West

Plans for additional acute hospital beds include new dedicated ambulatory elective-only facilities in Galway. Services in Galway University Hospital and Portiuncula Hospital will benefit from major investment in acute hospital services. In addition, improvements to mental health services include plans for an acute unit in Galway. There are also plans for a Rehabilitation Unit in Roscommon.
