Michael Bunyan was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO)/ Assistant Secretary General at the Department in December 2014, with responsibility for the Department’s wide ranging and critically important Information and Communication Technology (ICT) portfolio.

Prior to this, from 2010, Michael served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO)/Director of Information Management and Technology at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

Michael has over 35 years of experience working in various senior ICT roles in the Irish Civil Service.
