David O' Sullivan has responsibility at Assistant Secretary level for Sourcing & Professional Practice.
The Sourcing and Professional Practice Division is responsible for the delivery of procurement solutions to public service bodies across a broad range of common goods and services, including ICT, Facilities Management, Professional Services, Energy, Fleet, and Travel. The solutions are designed to leverage Government’s spending to deliver value for money, as well as broader Government policies such as climate action, sustainability, social benefits and SME access. The Sourcing and Professional Practice Division is also responsible for the development of procurement practice and skills across the public service, and incorporates the work of the Commercial Skills Academy.
