What Antimicrobial Resistance is

Ireland's National Plans

iNAP3 report for 2026-2030 is the most up to date documentation for Irelands Nation Action Plan on antimicrobial resistance. This report follows previous inap1 and inap2 reports which are on our website. The document is already on the joint AMR page for DAFM/DoH also.

The document gives a background to AMR and previous strategy also, provides a coordinated cross-sectorial response to AMR. It aims to ensure, the availability of effective antimicrobial treatment options for both human and animal populations. It also aims to protect and optimise the health of humans, animals and the environment though minimising the development and spread of AMR.
