ANTI-RACISM COMMITTEE’S PUBLIC CONSULTATION IS CLOSED
21 April to 14 July 2021
The Anti-Racism Committee’s Public Consultation on a new National Action Plan against Racism for Ireland is now open and will run for 12 weeks from Wednesday 21 April to Wednesday 14 July 2021. It gives everyone an opportunity to have their say about how we can effectively tackle racism in all its forms in Ireland today.
The Committee have prepared a Consultation Document to explain what the consultation is about, which you can access here.
The document is available in 29 other languages here.
Roderic O’Gorman, T.D., Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, welcomed the Committee’s Interim Report and launch of this Public Consultation, saying:
“Racism is a serious issue in our society, and can manifest in many different aspects of people’s lives. I thank the Committee for their ongoing work and I look forward to the National Action Plan against Racism that is due later this year.”
