The National Parks and Wildlife Service, part of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, is seeking to engage with the public and a wide range of stakeholders about the National Parks in Ireland.
Currently there are eight National Parks in Ireland:
In addition to serving as important conservation areas, the National Parks serve as important amenities for locals and visitors from further afield. With a growing number of national conservation commitments coupled with a growing number of visitors to our Parks, the NPWS is seeking to engage with the public to understand their views of the National Parks and help inform a wide range of policy decisions, including:

Submissions received will not be individually published, but the data from submissions may be used in aggregate or statistical form in other reports. This may include the text of individual comments.
