The EU Commission are holding a Public consultation on revised State aid rules for the agricultural and forestry sectors and in rural areas. All citizens and organisations are welcome to contribute to this consultation. Contributions are particularly sought from (i) Member States and their aid granting authorities, (ii) business associations and companies operating in the European single market, as well as (iii) legal and economic practitioners.
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine would appreciate if stakeholders submitting comments to this consultation would send on a copy of their submission to DAFM’s State Aid Unit at stateaids@agriculture.gov.ie
All comments received will be treated as strictly confidential and will help formulate our position on the future State Aid rules discussions. Details of the Consultation are in the link below, closing date 13/03/2022.
