The Minister of State for Heritage and Electoral Reform has launched a public consultation on the mid-term review of the National Peatlands Strategy.
Why are we launching a public consultation
The purpose of the mid-term review is to provide a broad assessment of where the Strategy currently is and what it can achieve over the next five years. Where necessary, it may also propose changes to the actions set out in the Strategy to refocus it in line with its overall goals and the current context.
How to get involved
Submissions on the mid-term review of the National Peatlands Strategy will be accepted via email or standard post only to the following addresses:

All submissions received will be published on the Department’s website, subject to Freedom of Information, Access to Information on the Environment, and Data Protection legislation.
