The proposed Cahir Local Area Plan 2021-2027 has now been published and now is your opportunity to have your say on how the town should develop in the next six years and beyond.
The Plan sets out a strategic vision for Cahir, providing guidance as to how this vision can be achieved, where new development should be located, what public infrastructure is required and the objectives to deliver the plan in partnership with stakeholders and the local community.
The public consultation period on the draft proposed Plan is now open until 4pm on 9 November 2020. You can review the draft Plan by clicking on the links on this page and you can submit your views by clicking the ‘Make a Submission’ button or by writing to us at the address below. Please make your submission through one medium only, either online or in writing.
If you want to review a hard copy of the Plan, copies are available at the Tipperary County Council offices in Clonmel, Nenagh and Tipperary Town and Cahir Library.
