The Municipal District Operations and Rural Development Department of Cork County Council has opened a public consultation regarding proposed improvements to Spa House grounds and Tip O’Neill Park, Mallow, Co Cork.
The proposed development comprises:
- alterations to external landscape areas and boundaries to Spa House and Tip O’Neill Park to enhance and improve public realm, landscape and accessibility
- proposed pedestrian crossing to improve access between Muddy Hill /Spa Walk (N72) and main entrance to Spa House/ Tip O'Neill Park
- proposed pedestrian zebra crossing with at St. Joseph’s Road with improved footpaths/crossing at Castlepark Entrance
- supporting locational and wayfinding signage, seating and services
- the proposed development will connect to the existing public water supply, storm sewer, and public utilities
- associated servicing and landscape works
