Part 8 Proposed redevelopment and upgrade of Mallow Swimming Pool

The proposed development comprises:

• construction of an extension to the front of the building to cater for new reception area, administrative offices, staff facilities (changing room, staffroom, toilet facilities) and a new party room
• construction of an extension to the rear of the pool to cater for new storeroom, sauna, stream room and multipurpose room
• construction of a new eastern gable extension
• development of a new village style communal dressing room including new showers, lockers, group changing facilities
• upgrade of mechanical and electrical equipment, wiring and plant
• upgrade of chemical dosing facilities
• upgrade of Pool Deck
• replacement of windows and doors with more energy efficient units
• replacement of roof with new more energy efficient roof material
• associated soft landscaping
