James Choiseul

James Choiseul, as the Director of Food Safety and Plant Science Laboratories, is responsible for managing the agriculture-related laboratories of DAFM. His role involves developing and implementing a strategic plan for the agricultural laboratories. He works closely with the Head of Laboratories and the Department's Chief Inspector in improving the scientific performance of the laboratory service for DAFM and its customers. He is responsible for DAFM’s Blood Testing Laboratory in Cork and for the Laboratory Administration Unit based in Backweston.
