Farm partnerships: Key information and dates 2026

Registered Farm Partnerships

  • Applications are accepted and processed all year round.
  • Applicants wishing to have their Registered Farm Partnership number in time to submit by the 2026 BISS deadline, must submit fully completed application and requirements by 2 February 2026.
  • Application documentation and requirements are available on the department’s website.*
  • Fully completed applications and documentation to be sent to RFPApplications@agriculture.gov.ie (please note incomplete applications will be returned)

Collaborative Farming Grant

This single payment grant provides financial support to farmers seeking advice from accredited legal, accounting and advisory professionals in the setting up of a Registered Farm Partnership.

  • Open to Registered Farm Partnerships new to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine’s Farm Partnership Register.
  • Application period: 10 August 2026 – 30 September 2026.
  • Grant payments issued Q4 2026.
  • Application documentation and requirements are available on the department’s website.*
  • Fully completed applications and documentation to be sent to Collaborativegrant@agriculture.gov.ie (please note incomplete applications will be returned)

Succession Planning Advice Grant

This single payment grant provides financial support to farmers aged 60 years and over, seeking succession planning advice from accredited legal, accounting and advisory professionals.

  • Application period: 1 January 2026 – 30 November 2026.
  • Grant payments issued Q1 2027.
  • Application documentation and requirements are available on the department’s website.*
  • Fully completed applications and documentation to be sent to SPAGApplications@agriculture.gov.ie (please note incomplete applications will be returned)
