Planning & development regulations 2001

The Department of the Environment and Local Government has issued "Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 (S.I. No. 600 of 2001)". The following section of these Regulations, "Exempted Development - Rural", is one of the sections that came into legal effect on January 21st 2002. These Regulations make very considerable changes to the previous exemption system. The Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development will require that all applications under it's On-Farm Investment Schemes (Farm Waste Management; Dairy Hygiene Standards; Alternative Enterprises Scheme), received on or after 2nd April 2002 shall comply with these new Exemption Regulations.
