Transport Authorisation Application Form checklist

These are the guidelines and checklist for completing the Transport Authorisation Application Form. It is a legal requirement when transporting live animals on journeys over 65 kilometres in connection with an economic activity to be authorised by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.

This is aimed at improving the welfare of animals, including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs and poultry, during transport throughout the European Union.
