Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer One Health, One Welfare

This position has responsibility at Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer level to enhance delivery of service in the veterinary public health, animal health and animal welfare divisions; initiating and driving change to continually review and improve programme delivery under the Hygiene Package and associated food legislation, taking account of the modernisation of the meat inspection service. This position is also responsible for progressing initiatives with particular reference to achieving the commitments set out in Food Wise 2025.
