Fodder Transport Support Measure


What the Fodder Transport Measure Support Scheme

The objective of this measure is to provide targeted support by way of a transport support contribution to farmers having to purchase fodder over longer distances in light of the prolonged and unfavourable weather conditions on farm. This will be achieved through a financial contribution towards forage transport costs in certain circumstances from 1st April 2024. This measure is operated by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, through the Co-operative organisation.

A completed application form and a completed Co-operative declaration of transport & purchase of forage submitted to:
